Local Goods Coffee, roasted here on Orcas. A rotating pastry case and black pepper buttermilk biscuits with whipped butter and jam.

Judd Cove oysters shucked to order — or shuck them yourself. Mignonette, lemon, saltines and a cold bottle of something sparkling.

The Lawn Burger: sharp white cheddar, smoked bacon, spicy mayo, brioche. Add Lucy's Pilsner from Island Hoppin' and call it an afternoon.

Panko-and-parmesan beer-battered rockfish, crispy fries, slaw, caper aïoli. Best eaten outside, squinting at the water.

Whole chilled Dungeness crab with Old Bay, garlic butter and lemon. Smoked rockfish chowder for the days the fog wins.

Orcas Island Tea, Blackberry Brambler, Sunset Paloma — or a Beach House Bloody, three ways, for a slower start.
